Concept
The modern system of education in the UK consists of four stages: primary (Elementary School), medium (Secondary School),
the so-called subsequent or post-secondary (Further Education), and higher (Higher Education) obrazovaniya. Gradute schools pass exams and receive a certificate of Secondary education GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary education). This certificate is sufficient to start self-employment, but does not give the right to admission to higher education institutions.
International Colleges (International Colleges) -Small secondary schools, which accept only foreign students from 14 to 18 years. Accommodation is offered in dormitories (on school grounds) as well as in families. Private schools (Independent School) -More prestigious form of training mainly for English children (85%), as well as foreign students from 8 to 18 years. Accommodation is mainly in the residence, but some schools offer accommodation in host families.
